Veterans Ombudsman Announces Membership of his Advisory Council Members
May 9, 2019 – Ottawa, Ontario – Office of the Veterans Ombudsman
Veterans Ombudsman Craig Dalton is pleased to announce new appointments to the Veterans Ombudsman Advisory Council – a committed group of individuals from across the country who work with and support Veterans in a variety of capacities.
“We are very excited to work with and learn from such a diverse and knowledgeable group of dedicated individuals,” said Dalton. “The Council’s role is to provide our office with advice and recommendations on Veterans issues and to identify and share ideas that are important to the Veterans' community. We also count on council members to work to promote the well-being and fair treatment of all of Canada’s Veterans and their families.”
The membership of the Veterans Ombudsman Advisory Council seeks to represent a broad range of views and experience on Veterans issues. It includes Canadian Armed Forces and Royal Canadian Mounted Police Veterans caregiver spouses, as well as, professional advisors from academia, health care, rehabilitation and other relevant fields.
The Council represents only one component of our engagement efforts. If you wish to speak with our office or the Ombudsman, either individually or as a group, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
